The work consists mainly of:
Ensuring a memorable visitor experience;
Welcoming and informing visitors on our many services, programs and exhibitions;
Assisting with wayfinding and "plan your visit" support;
Controlling visitor circulation and managing the number of visitors through exhibition areas;
Ticket processing;
The possibility of additional training and compensation for interpretive activities, program delivery and guided tours.

We are looking for people who:
Are patient, enjoy working with the public and will greet visitors with a smile;
Enjoy providing quality customer service to a diverse audience;
Appreciate team collaboration to achieve common goals;
Are bilingual (English / French);
Have experience with ticketing(asset) or cash systems;
Have experience working in a museum, cultural or tourism context (asset);
Have experience delivering programs and/or presentations (asset).

Temporary positions without assigned hours
Positions starting early September for 1 year with possibilty of extension
You must be available to attend 3 to 4 full consecutive training days during your first week.
$19,49/hour to $24,12/hour (2025-2026 rates) + percentage in lieu of benefits (up to 10.5%).
The opportunity to supplement your income through the delivery of certain programs following additional training.
