About the position To provide technical support for the Palaeobiology section, specifically through preparation of fossil material in support of the Palaeobiology research programs at the CMN with a particular emphasis on the preparation of dinosaur and fish material. Education and training: Graduation with a bachelor’s degree with specialization in the sciences, a relevant diploma in museum studies, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Language requirements: English or French essential; Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset. Experience: Experience in a museum, conservation, and/or collections management setting. Experience in fossil specimen preparation, handling, and transportation. Experience in standard specimen conservation and storage techniques. The following experiences will be considered as an asset: Experience identifying and studying vertebrate specimens. Experience in specimen imaging and drawing.
