ASIC Methodology and Automation Engineer

How You Will Contribute

• Develop and maintain software using Java, Rust, Python, and Make on Linux, adhering to established methodologies and practices for high-quality code.
• Create and maintain command-line applications and web-based services to support ASIC development workflows.
• Write bash scripts to automate tasks and streamline the automation process.
• Address customer issues, bugs, and feature requests in existing applications while contributing to the creation of innovative new applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional ASIC Development teams to identify and implement improvements to new and existing applications.
• Utilize Git for source code management and work collaboratively using Bitbucket to enhance team efficiency.
• Work with experienced engineers to develop testing frameworks for software development.
• Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to ASIC development automation.

Must Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• At least 5 years of experience in ASIC development
• Proficiency in Java and Python programming and object-oriented design principles.
• Strong expertise in Linux operating systems and bash scripting.
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment.
• Familiarity with Bash, TCL, and Make.
• Solid understanding of Digital Circuit Development.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with cross-functional teams.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with Bitbucket for source code collaboration.
• Exposure to emerging technologies and trends shaping ASIC Development automation.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: C $109,000 - $174,000 per year

Non-Sales employees may be eligible for a discretionary incentive bonus, while Sales employees may be eligible for a sales commission.
