As Assistant Director, Endpoint Management, you will help shape the future of how employees work by leading the evolution of device management, virtual workspaces, endpoint security, automation and digital employee experience. You'll lead a high-performing team responsible for keeping thousands of devices secure, resilient and productive, while advancing innovative technologies that support the Bank's mission.

What you will do

As Assistant Director, Endpoint Management, you will lead a team responsible for the full lifecycle management of the Bank's endpoint environment, including laptops, mobile devices, virtual desktops and endpoint services.

In this role, you will:

• Provide leadership, coaching and development opportunities to build a high-performing and engaged team.
• Establish operational priorities and align team objectives with departmental and corporate goals.
• Oversee the reliability, security and continuous improvement of endpoint management platforms and services.
• Lead strategic initiatives that modernize endpoint management through cloud-first technologies, automation and self-service capabilities.
• Drive improvements in endpoint security, compliance, vulnerability management and operational resilience.
• Manage operational planning, resource allocation, budgets and technology investments.
• Build strong partnerships with internal clients and stakeholders to deliver high-quality services and solutions.
• Monitor service performance, identify improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions where required.
• Foster a positive, collaborative and inclusive work environment that supports employee growth and innovation.

What you need to succeed

You demonstrate strong leadership, communication and relationship-building skills, along with experience leading operational technology teams in a complex enterprise environment.

You also have experience with:

• Modern endpoint management platforms, including Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, Windows 365, Azure Virtual Desktop and Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM).
• Endpoint security, patch management, compliance management and vulnerability remediation.
• Cloud-first identity and device management, including Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access and mobile device management.
• Leading technology modernization initiatives and large-scale endpoint transformation projects.
• Using operational data and automation to improve service delivery and user experience.
• Strategic planning, operational management and continuous service improvement.

Nice to have

The following would be considered assets:

• Experience with Patch My PC, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Qualys, Splunk, Sysmon and ServiceNow integrations.
• Experience implementing or supporting Windows 365 Cloud PC and Azure Virtual Desktop environments.
• Experience with PowerShell, Microsoft Graph API, Power BI and workflow automation.
• Knowledge of zero-touch provisioning, endpoint analytics and AI-enabled operational support.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Copilot, Security Copilot or related AI-enabled workplace technologies.

Your education and experience

The position requires a university degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or another related field, or a college diploma in Information Technology, and 8 to 15 years of progressively responsible experience in endpoint management and technology operations, including experience managing teams and supporting modern endpoint technologies; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Language requirement

The Bank's work environment is conducive to the use of both of Canada's official languages - English and French. The position language requirement is Level 5 (Fully Functional). If a qualified candidate who meets the language requirement of the position is not found, a qualified candidate who does not meet the language requirement may be considered. Hybrid Work Model

The Bank offers work arrangements that provide employees with flexibility, enable high-performing teams, and support an excellent workplace culture. Most employees can telework from home for a portion of each month as part of the Bank's hybrid work model, and they are expected on site at the Bank location a minimum of 12 days per month to help build connections between colleagues. You must live in Canada, and within reasonable commuting distance of the office.

Salaries: typically range from $153,721 to $180,848 (job grade 19)

The Bank offers an incentive for successfully meeting expectations at 7 to 10% of your base salary. The Bank offers additional performance pay (5%) for those who exceed expectations. Exceptional performers who far exceed expectations may be eligible for higher performance pay.
