Official Course Description

Origins and development of later modern political thought (from the 19th century onwards). Topics could include: socialism, liberalism, Marxism, decolonialism, feminism, postmodernism, Indigenous perspectives. It is strongly recommended that students take POL 2107 and POL 2108 before this course.

Nature of Work

Marking of papers and exams. The student must meet the deadlines set by the supervisor.

Requirements

Priority will be given to candidates in accordance with articles 18.5 and 18.6 of the CUPE collective agreement.

Students must be available to travel to the University of Ottawa campus in Ottawa at the request of their supervisor and/or the School.
