- Respond to and manage clinical incidents, behavioural escalations, emergency codes, and safety concerns.
- Provide visible leadership and decision-making support to frontline clinical staff during off-hours.
- Address immediate employee relations concerns during off-hours to stabilize situations and maintain safety and professional standards.
- Communicate and collaborate with the Administrator on Call, Afterhours Managers, and Duty Physician to ensure timely resolution of operational and clinical issues.
- Ensure staff compliance with mandatory training and awareness of policies relevant to weekend/evening operations.
- Liaise with interdisciplinary teams and partners to support patient care and transitions during weekend/evening shifts.

- Ability to provide clear direction, guidance, and decision-making support to staff during evenings and nights, particularly in urgent or escalated situations.
- Working knowledge of collective agreements and ability to address immediate staff concerns or conflicts, escalating to appropriate leadership as required.
- Required to effectively communicate with staff, on-call leadership, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams during off-hours, including documentation and handover reporting.
