Course Description

PED 4570: Recherches en éducation

Introduction à la méthodologie et aux méthodes de recherche théoriques et empiriques. Repérage et utilisation critique des résultats de recherches portant sur l'enseignement et l'apprentissage. Compréhension du rôle des recherches quantitatives, qualitatives et participatives pour améliorer la pratique d'enseignement et favoriser le développement professionnel.

The academic year starts on September 1 and ends on August 31.

These rates do not included vacation pay nor statutory pay.

These rates will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified. Retro will be paid after the ratification.

Requirements

Exigences minimales:

• Maîtrise en éducation; La préférence sera donnée à un doctorat en éducation portant sur l'évaluation des apprentissages.
• Au moins un parmi :
  • Expérience récente en enseignement à temps plein dans une école ou en administration au sein d'un conseil scolaire incluant deux ans de mise en oeuvre du curriculum de l'Ontario au cycle p/m/i avec une qualification spécialiste au cycle p/m/i
  • Dossier de recherche actuel et arbitré dans la matière du cours à enseigner.
  • Examen de synthèse (Ph.D.) récent dans la matière du cours à enseigner.
• Connaissance démontrée du contexte de l'Ontario en ce qui a trait à la matière du cours à enseigner.
• Capacité manifeste d'appliquer les Normes d'exercice de la profession et du Code de déontologie des enseignantes et enseignants de l'Ontario.

Un niveau d'éducation/d'expérience jugé équivalent pourrait suppléer aux exigences d'éducation et/ou d'expérience requises.
