Course Description

PED 3717: Impact des technologies de l'information et des communications en éducation

Analyse des changements pédagogiques apportés par les technologies de l'information et des communications dans la société, particulièrement en éducation, afin de se construire une vision technopédagogique critique. Étude de leur utilisation en tant qu'objet et outil d'apprentissage et en tant qu'aide à l'enseignement au secondaire. Évaluation de didacticiels et de sites d'information, élaboration de scénarios pédagogiques d'intégration des technologies adaptés au secondaire, selon une approche culturelle de l'enseignement.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

• Master's degree in Education; Preference will be given to a Ph.D. in Education focused on learning evaluation.
• At least one of the following:
  • Recent full-time teaching experience in a school or administrative experience within a school board, including two years of implementation of the Ontario Curriculum at the intermediate/advanced level, with specialized qualifications in intermediate/advanced teaching.
  • Current, peer-reviewed research record in the subject matter of the course to be taught.
  • Recent comprehensive examination (Ph.D.) in the subject matter of the course to be taught.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the Ontario context as it relates to the subject matter of the course to be taught.
• Clear ability to apply the Standards of Professional Practice and Code of Ethics of Ontario teachers.

An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational and/or experience requirements.
