Course Description

Introduction to the coaching and training techniques specific to volleyball, to the development and analysis of players' performance, technical skills and strategies. Development of seasonal planning and teaching-learning progressions.

Position Type: Professeur à temps-partiel régulier / Regular Part-Time Professor Expected Enrolment: 48 students Number of Credits: 3 Work Hours: 39 hours of teaching per semester Hourly Rate: Enseignement / Teaching: $239.47 (2024-2025)

The academic year starts on September 1 and ends on August 31. These rates do not include vacation pay nor statutory pay. These rates will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified. Retro will be paid after the ratification.

Responsibilities

Le (La) candidat(e) retenu(e) sera responsable de la partie magistrale du cours / The successful candidate will be responsible for the lecture portion of the course.

Requirements

• Maîtrise (ou équivalent) en activité physique (sciences biophysiques) ou domaine connexe / Masters (or equivalent) in Human Kinetics (Biophysical sciences) or related field.
• Expérience en enseignement universitaire est un atout / Experience teaching in a university setting is an asset.

Un niveau d'éducation/d'expérience jugé équiv. pourrait suppléer aux exigences d'éducation et/ou d'expérience requises. / An acceptable level of education/experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.
