Course Description

PDP 1660: Français langue seconde - PART I

Study the theoretical foundations and programs of basic, intensive, or immersion French as a second language. Analyze teaching strategies and assessment methods according to student development. Raise teachers' awareness of the importance of an inclusive, equitable, and safe learning environment.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master's degree in education.
• Specialist qualification recognized by the College of Teacher of Ontario.
• Recent experience as a full-time teacher in a school or in administration within a school board.
• Two years of experience implementing the Ontario Curriculum in the relevant subject area.
• Confirmation of updated qualifications in education, particularly in the relevant subject area.
• Ability to apply Ethical Standards and Standards of Practice in the Teaching Profession.

An acceptable level of education/experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.
